The objective of this module is to develop a thorough understanding of the concepts. The faculty member introduces the basic concepts to the students with the help of solved examples that are given in our study material. The faculty member ensures that the concepts are delivered in such a manner that all the students in the class are able to conceptually understand the subject. At the end of each chapter, there is an exercise (Practice Worksheet) which is meant for the home assignment. Students are expected to submit these exercises. The plan for this assignment will be given in the class by the faculty member.
The objective of this module is to test the students' grasp of concepts that have been taught in the class. The basic difference between the exercise module and the testing module a module is that the exercises would have no time limit, while test papers will have a time limit.

Topic-wise Tests are conducted after completion of each chapter. In each testing class two tests are administered: Level 1 Test and Level 2 Test.
Level 1 Test would consist of 20 objective-type questions and will be administered for a 45 minute duration. Questions would be provided in one paper and the responses of the students would be marked separately. The question paper would be retained by the students. The test will be followed by a discussion of the paper for about 45 minutes.

The questions (or concepts) in level 2 test would be very similar to those covered in Test1. As Test 2 is conducted after the discussion of Test 1, a student should be able perform better which builds the confidence. The objective of this test is to check the attentiveness of the children in class.
Cumulative Tests are descriptive in nature and carry 50 marks.It is further divided into three sections-I,II, and III. These tests are conducted once a month. Section I and II tests are modelled on the school/board exams paper pattern.
Section III is a combination of school/board exams paper pattern which will require application of concepts too. After completion of two to three chapters one CUMULATIVE TEST will be conducted.
1. Section I consists of very short answers - one word or one sentence answers, mutiple choice questions, match the following, fill in the blanks with each question carrying 1 mark.
2. Section II consists of Short Answers - three to four sentence answers with each question carrying 2-3 marks.
3. Section III consists of Long Answers - The questions are divided into two parts. The first part consists of understanding the concepts and it will carry 2 marks. The second part will consists of application of these concepts and it will carry 3 marks.
Model Papers will cover all chapters, will have all the three sections and will be descriptive in nature. These papers will be given at the end of the course around january-february. The duration is about 2.5 hours and will carry approximately 100 marks.
